What we connect

The three C's.

Capital, Conviction, Capability. The three things one mind has to hold to make the work happen.

  • 01 · Capital

    Capital

The architecture of the money, not the cheque size. Source, patience, horizon, and the rights to govern the work it's funding. The same cheque held by a generational holding company versus a five-year fund is two different forms of capital entirely.

  • 02 · Conviction

    Conviction

The load-bearing belief that something specific is worth building, and the willingness to commit resources to it under uncertainty. Not enthusiasm, not "something something AI". A specific argument about a specific outcome that the room can answer for.

  • 03 · Capability

    Capability

The ability of a specific human-and-machine system to repeatedly produce a specific outcome, to a known standard, under realistic conditions. The asset that compounds and that competitors cannot copy by reading a patent.

Disciplines at the boundary

The network.

Kaipability is starting as a network. The work that matters most lives at the boundary between disciplines. Engineering, capital, policy, supply chain, regulation, and the people who can stand at those boundaries are the rare ones. We will find you. But you don't find us.

Things people ask

About Kaipability.

  • Who is Dr Mayank Verma?

Chief Engineering Officer at Kaipability. Manufacturing Engineer by training, Modern Industrialist by practice. Twenty years taking deep-tech from concept to production at Rolls-Royce, then driving the acquisition of paradigm-changing capabilities across three continents at Atlas Copco Group. Operator, not consultant. Most people call him Rocky.

  • Why is the firm called Kaipability?

Kai is the operative element. The work is about capability — the qualified, repeatable ability of a specific human-and-machine system to produce a specific outcome, reliably, at viable cost. Not the patent. Not the funding round. The capability. Building it, owning it, compounding it.

  • Where is Kaipability based?

Headquartered in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, United Kingdom. Registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15772934). The principals have built, bought, and backed industrial capability across Europe, Asia, and North America. Engagements run wherever the asset is.

  • Who is in the wider Kaipability network?

Kaipability is starting as a network of senior practitioners. The work that matters lives at the intersection of three disciplines: engineering, capital policy, supply chains, and operations. We find each other through the work. If you are the missing C in a room, get in touch.

  • Why Manufacturing Engineers and not management consultants?

Because the work cannot be done from a slide. A Manufacturing Engineer who has industrialised five processes can read a sixth in an afternoon and tell you honestly where the risk lives. A management consultancy cannot employ that profile at the leverage their economics require. We were never a management consultancy. We solve operator problems as operators.
